Currently, Park Water Company has about 85 employees. Of these employees, 51 are dedicated to the local water system operations in southeast Los Angeles County. The remaining 34 employees provide corporate services to all of Park’s companies in the areas of executive management, revenue requirements, risk management, human resources, engineering planning, accounting, information systems and water quality.

 

Park’s staff consistently demonstrates their expertise in the operation of water systems and they are leaders in implementing new practices. Park’s staff are proactively involved with implementing new technology and regulations through their involvement in various foundations and associations including the National Association of Water Companies, the American Water Works Association, the Water Research Foundation, the Association of California Water Agencies, the California Urban Water Conservation Council, the California Water Utilities Association, the Central Basin Municipal Water District, the American Society of Civil Engineers.  Certain staff also participate in stakeholder groups for the United States Environmental Protection Agency.

 

Park actively promotes employee education and training. It is our belief that our employees need appropriate experience and skills to provide superior service to our customers.

 

Park’s employees include California Registered Professional Engineers; California Certified Public Accountants; California Certified Water Distribution Operators; California Certified Water Treatment Operators; California Certified Backflow Testers; and a California Certifited Water Conservation Specialist.
