Guidelines and Procedures
To open service We ask for a twenty-four (24) hour notice to schedule an opening request. We ask all prospective customers to sign an application for service. We ask that the applicant furnish the last four digits of their social security and driver license numbers, as well as proof of date of occupancy. If the applicant owns the property, we ask that they show proof of ownership (closing escrow). If the applicant rents the property, we ask that they show a lease/rental agreement and pay a deposit. Deposits to establish credit for new service will be a minimum of $100 up to the estimated average monthly bill for residential customers. If, however, you are the property owner, a former customer in good standing, or can provide a qualified guarantor, we will waive the deposit. Click here to download an application for service.
Openings by Mail, Fax or Telephone
Under extraordinary circumstances, if an applicant is unable to appear in person, we will mail, fax or take by phone an application for service. The deposit, if required, and signed application may be dropped in the drop box, or mailed. The water will be turned on upon receipt of the signed application and any required deposit.
